When you are on the road, and especially when offroad, your clothes can easily get damaged. The material can get overstretched and then a tread can loosen, after which that tread will continue to get loose more and more. Also a thorn can grap your shirt or pants and create a nasty spot or even a tear in them.
There are three 🔧 very 🔨 easy 🪛 ways to fix that. And all you need are a lighter (...) and nailpolish an/or superglue.
In case of a synthetical tread coming loose you can use a lighter to burn the long end of the tread and let it burn almost all the way down to the cloth. Then blow out the flame. The trick is that burning synthetical materials create a kind of ball. That ball at the end of the tread functions as a natural stopper since it will not allow the tread to pass the clothlayer anymore.
The second trick is to glue the tread or damaged area to the main material with a drop of transparant nail polish or superglue.
The third trick can be done to repair a tear. Just glue the parts together with a drop of transparant nail polish or superglue.
All these repairs are very washingmachine - resistant and will last for a long time.
